  •  An induction cooktop may be a bit costlier. Since induction is new technology, an induction cooktop is probably a bit more expensive compared to the same-sized traditional cooktop.
  •  Special cookware is essential. You must use magnetic cookware or else the induction process may not be as effective. and you may not be able to cook the food. You can use the cookware with magnetic properties, if already available in your kitchen or may have to buy the new cookware.
  • Con 3: Induction cooktops produce a buzzing noise. Induction cooker produces a buzzing or humming sound similar to that of a table fan. This relatively depends on the type of cookware rather than cooktop itself. Lightweight stainless steel Pan produces more noise than heavier Pans made of cast Iron.
  • Since Induction cooker requires electricity for operation, you may not be able to cook in case Power goes off but then even microwave oven will not work without electricity.

We boil them for 16 minutes and I always stir the water 1st and use a large wooden spoon to set them down into the water. You should try it’s!
